I have windows XP, SP2. I keep up with my anti-virus programs. I have Norton Anti-Virus scan , furnished by Yahoo. Its tells me updates are avaible. I update the program, it comes thru, and when it tries to download to my computer,it goes on for over a half hour, and never does finish. I have turned off my pop-up blockers, turned off my firewall. Why won't it down-load?

It sounds like Norton may be blocking the Yahoo site. Ironic, isn't it?

Try going to Symantec's site and download the update as a separate file.

If you're using a dial-up connection you'll find this kind of thing happens with large files. You'll need broadband.
