How does it get there? Even if you haven't heard it in years.

Memory is a funny thing. Pick out a favorite song of yours, something simple, fast and loud. Play it and scream along, dance if possible. That should do the trick. If you can play an instrument, just start jamming to something different and that'll take care of the problem.

oooh I hate when that happens-my friends always get annoying songs in my head which I then start singing for like the whole day. You should put on a song which you consider to be good and turn it up real loud and dance about mad singing it, then you will get that stuck in your head- and at least it will be a good song- hope it helps.

Turn on the radio - it's hard to have two different songs playing in your head at once, so the one that you're actually listening to will probably win out.

Memory is a mysterious entity, I don't think there is any one answer to tell you why it comes up. But in order to get it out of your head, listen to it, But if that doesn't work, this is what I do. I imagine the singer, or the band, or the artist in my head playin his/her music, and then I imagine sayin', "Hey! Stop it! Okay! Just stop it! AHHHHHH!!!!" And that works sometimes, hehe.

u proably heard it on the radio or somewhere you forgot about. it happens to me aaaallllll the time! like me and my friend where listening to her ipod and then i got the song stuck in my had. if you want it out just think of another song you like, like Unfaithful by Rihanna. thats a good song. or you can just think of other thing. but that's also how a song can gt stuck in your head. you think of thing that lead to things that can lead to movies or songs.

That happens to me all the time. Usually I write the lyrics down (it helps for some reason) and then I listen to something else.

hearing a song repeatedly can get it stuck in your head, so if you want it out, you've got to get a different one in, preferably one you actually like :)
