How old are you?

I don't understand why you would yell at your mom. You may not be spoiled, but apparently your parent(s) have let you have a cell phone, tv (old or not), and an IPod. And you get to have your hair done. Why are you yelling?

Yelling at your parent is disrespectful. You had to have another option. Parents have a lot to deal with, and it is a rare teen that realizes this, and tries to make things easier for them.

Like not giving them a hard time.

It doesn't seem fair to you, but no parent wants to be yelled at. Especially not from their own child.

When you have a bad, difficult or frustrating day do you really want someone to yell at you? Even if your day is going well, do you want someone to ruin it by raising their voice at you and getting upset?

Go, breathe, and think about the situation next time. Do you have to yell? Can you try to sit down and have a quiet talk with mom? Listen (really listen) to what she is telling you without jumping in with your side.

Don't be defensive, be understanding, even if you feel that the subject is the most important thing in the world to you. Remember: if she works, give her an hour to relax and wind down, then talk to her. If waiting doesn't fit your schedule, you could be trying to talk to someone who just had a horrific day at work. Or their first great day in a year.

Be calm, and be prepared to accept whatever she tells you, even if you don't like it. Then make your point. But don't go in looking for a fight: you may get one.

You want a calm reasonable mom, and she deserves a calm reasonable daughter.

If you get upset, apologize immediately, and ask if you can continue after you have calmed down. If she yells, don't yell back. Ask if you can go to your room; kick back & listen to your favorite music (headphones), until you relax. It would be nice if she did too. Then try again.

And make an effort to see things from her point of view. Parents often see and understand more than teens give them credit for, but teens rarely see their situation from the parents side.

Hope this hope this helps!

Lady I have shoes that are older than you are, and probably better behaved.

If I had yelled at my Mom, well I wouldn't be typing this unless I was using my nose because my Mother would have jerked my arms off and beat me silly with the bloody ends.

Now go apologize to your mother and take your medicine like a big kid.

OMG you have a TV with an antenna. Oh you poor mistreated person.

You're life would not suck if you just didn't yell at your mom. I know you may not see eye to eye on everything, but your mother deserves respect. Even when you don't agree with her, don't yell at her. You'll be happy because you won't get all your things taken away and she won't be hurt because her daughter is yelling and disrespecting her. Just try it next time. Words can really do some damage on hearts. Don't hurt her. I'm sure she's doing the best she can.

no longer certain what you advise "honest". honest relies upon on what her husband's income become, I advise he's a rich guy, likely does no longer bypass over $50M yet in a great number of cases in a divorce the money is going for the youngster. a lady receives alimony presented that she had no income or pastime of her own and Heather does have a occupation of her own. yet likely their tax gadget would take 0.5 of that, and that i don't understand if $25M would save that child contained in the variety she is familiar with (likely had a huge homestead, nanny, outfits, toys, education, transportation) and that i'm certain McCartney would wish his toddler to save living in luxury. i'm no longer certain if the courts would enable Heather to revisit the court docket if her toddler needed extra or no longer. i'd imagine certain. i understand Heather requested for extra funds, and were given a lot less. She wanted extra protection for her and her daughter.

Not everyone said you were spoiled. I thought it was nice that you still have your computer. I'm sure your mom loves you a lot. She probably just wants you to respect her.

Don't yell at your momma, my kids would lose that stuff if they did that to me. Apologize and give her a big hug.. you only have 1 mom, treat with respect.
My kids earn that stuff for being good, if they act up you better believe I'm gonna take it away. I tell them until they are out on their own, Everything they own I own.

I would still say that you are spoiled. And why are you posting this question more than once? It is fair. You shouldn't have yelled at her. That's all.
