I am sorry you worry so much.
being autistic probably makes it worse. anxiety isn't fun in the best of circumstances.
not knowing you personally I hate to say whats best for you but this helped me and maybe it can help someone.
I used to worry about everything from where rubber bands
came from to why my parents fought.
At 16 years old my parents were so scared about why I was scared... they took me to the Dr. He said I was over protected (yes you can over protect your self, too) and needed something of my own to protect.
get her a dog.
make her take care of it herself.
do not buy the food physically or financially
offer her no support except in an emergency and to pet the dog.
I learned what things to worry about as my parents let me learn from my own mistakes. My anxiety went away in 2 minutes
and I only worried about food, love and warmth for my puppy. This is just the short story and I am not autistic.
But
Shawn....... Get a dog.
Love Suzie and my 16th dog ....Daffodil

Anxiety comes from nitpicking the things around you that you see in everyday life, and taking them on a personal level. I dealt with this for about 8 years. I got over it without the use of any medication. It got so bad that I couldn't look people in the eye, even relatives. Whenever I was in a room with other people, If I heard them laughing, I would instantly think they were laughing at me. Or if I overheard the word"stupid" in a conversation, I would think they were talking about me. First of all, rid yourself of caring what others may think about you. This is usually the root cause of anxiety. This doesn't matter. If you lose your friends, you will make more who are more like minded with you. If you are ridiculed, lets face it, there are always going to be people who disagree with your choices. Even if we changed ourself to please THEM, there would be others who disagree with THOSE choices. It's a never ending battle trying to get everyone to agree with the way you are, because everyone is different, and it simply is not possible. Think about what makes YOU happy, not others. It is YOUR life, and you are the one who will be dealing with all the choices you make, not them. In the end, their opinions do not matter. So get rid of the fear of being ridiculed. If you fear failure, remember that you will always be a failure if you do not even make an attempt. It is better to give something your all, and be 2nd best, than to not try at all, and be left with nothing, not even the experience. In the end it is the experiences of it that you will remember, and be proud of. Next, after you rid yourself of your fears, you need to start to remember the true you. To do this, you simply pay attention to those little tugs you feel, and go with them. You may not know where it is leading you, but to ignore them, you will be missing out on a great number of opportunities and experiences. When you feel the tug, you are either being pulled toward something that will bring you ultimate joy, or you are being pulled away from something that will not bring you joy. Listen to yourself. Your true self already knows who it is. It is always trying to get us to remember. Its the outside influences that make us forget. Ignore the outside influences, and begin to listen to yourself. You will begin to discover a whole new side of you that you never knew existed. And you will be truly happy, because you will be truly yourself. Speaking from experience. This is how I overcame anxiety and learned to accept myself for who I truly was.Good luck!
