with some thin as importanr as a fire guard you should not be looking for the cheapest but one with the best standard of safety for your fire. loads of stores do them

Make your own using pool noodles or padding from a fabric store, or cut up a quilt if you mean padding.
If you mean fence wise, you could make your own using wood or plexiglass or you could look for second hand.,
