Hey, I really want to learn film making and am thinking about the Tisch School of Arts. However my grades are poor and I was disheartened to learn the University only has 350 international students. So is the New York Film Academy as good?

NYU is superb for film.
Penn State---Main Campus has a fine film school.
Sorry don't know about New York Film Academy.

Take whatever course you are capable of taking to acheive your dream. If it's the New York FIlm Academy instead of Tisch School of Arts, go for it!
The school is just the vehicle. You hold the key. Unlock the door.
