my toilet had a leak because one of the screws were loose. Because of this the water that was leaking stained the side of my toilet bowl it kinda looks like rusty leaks , now my toilet is stained on the side , i have tried everything , magic eraser, clorox, ajax, brillo , does anyone know how i could clean this , i am embarressed everytime someone comes to my house they ask me about it , and it looks like the toilet is just dirty on the side ,please help!!!!

well if the stain is not to bad you can try rubbing a half a lemon BUT, I never found this much help so here is the best way to rid the rust ,use 5% solution of oxalic acid or 10% solution of hydrochloric acid , you can obtain this from your chemist us a cloth to apply the solution where gloves and protect your clothes. Use 600 grit wet sandpaper. Get the sand paper damp and rub away at the rust.

If all else fails call a plumber who will use muriatic acid as that will assuredly do the trick.

CLR. Maybe salt and vinagar or salt and lemon juice. If you have access to muriatic acid try that, but be careful if you have access to it you know how dangerous it is.
