Im interested to ask anyone or even a(she male) or similar this question. Im aware that a transitioning male to female loses libido, erections & gets a decrease in the size of genitalia when on female hormones. This being the case, how is it the shemales I've seen are the opposite? There's no special effects required to see their sexual equipment is working very well. Do they use a special hormone regimen or something? How do they do it?

Although I am a male to female transsexual who is on hormones, I don't identity as a shemale, but I think I can help you. The brain is the most important part of getting an erection, if someone wants to become erect they can do so, regardless of how much chemicals are in their body, although it definitely does become more difficult. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent shrinking on estrogen by using the equipment alot, so that it doesn't atrophy and shrink. It is also possible that they are on a lower dose of estrogen, and that much of their apperance is gained by surgery and implants.

i assume when you say shemale, you are referring to the porn stars (as that is a general slang term for porn transsexuals) these porn stars likely use other drugs to help them get and retain erections and many likely have penile enlargement surgery.

regular transsexuals who are not shemales may or may not suffer from sexual problems with hormones. in general, they go thru an adjustment period, but eventually can have a full and healthy sex life.
