What is so bad about all the sims games?

i know some of them is just the dog farts and stuff and crude jokes. But, does it get worse?

Aside from the fact that it has more "adult" patches than the Tomb Raider games, what does it say about your real life that you need to go on your computer to have a fake one? If you're going to have a fantasy life, at least do one that has more than reality, like Oblivion or KoTOR.
