In my opinion, the best color scheme is shades of blue.

1) Light oak/pine with moderate-light brown, muted red, and off-white accents (warm, homely feel) or...
2) Shades of very low saturation blue/cyan (otherwise known as 'cadet blue') ranging from lumination 40 to 220. (contemporary, urban feel)
It heavily depends on where I am and how I am feeling usually- those are schemes that I usually enjoy unconditionally.

what appeals to me? it depends on what & where it is being used on. like ocean: clear blue. eyes: just clear. car: metallic pearl. the sunset over the Pacific.tree's: emerald. jewels: ruby's. the bloodier the better. female skin colour: dusky[flawless of course] hair colour: all naturally clean. a rainbow during a misting. a person could go on forever.................

Dark Blue, Lighter Blue, Creamy White. It's kind of, like, nautical. Well, maybe not nautical, but I like it.
