God bless you and I hope you get what you want. I too am in your shoes and my husband and I are going to start foster classes at the end of this month. From everything I've heard that's the best way to get into adoption. We've already had a taste of having a baby with us and it didn't work out. So we're going ahead and I wish luck to you on your endeavors as well.

You would need to contact an adoption agency and they would have to do a background check and check how you are financially.

For fostering you can also contact Child Services and tell them you are interested in being a foster parents, I am pretty sure they allow you to set the ages you want to take care of such as children under 13 or just teens

You know i hear they pay good for fostering a child, if you want to be a stay at home mom, that is perfect, you're helping a poor child and being able to afford to live and dedicate your time to that child.
