The CEO according to a recent survey makes 2-300 , 000 some of the top paid make millions - Is that justified ? What do they do that justifys this ?
The average worker is kept poor yet generates the wealth of the nation - Mines the steel feeds the population refines the goods etc.
How is this oppresion of an entire class freedom ?
If the working class all doed tommorow - society would grind to an instant halt
If the wealthy all died tommorow - who would notice ? (Entertainment magizines excluded)

My contention here is that the middle class feeds the poor through taxes and government agencies they involutarily support . The middle class also supports the upper elites through labour in various forms -
So the middle class supports the low and the top of society .....
Are either of these extremes necesary ?Niether really produces a thing -
The poor seem to want commodities at the expense of the middle and the top wants labour at the expense of the middle
The top cost more - Do we need the top ?

Gee whiz I don't know
What would happen if the government did it's job and regulated the market in the case of international compitition ?
What would happen if the American people ooohhh say bought American made products ?
But I guess your right - if it weren't compitition of one fat cat with another at the exspense of the consumer we'd be lost What did this compitition cost the poor little CEO's a half penny per 1/4 gallon that they made up by reduceing some production workers wages ?
Wow thank god for thier hard work - a stroke of a pen - Where would we be without that ?
Gee whiz it'sgood Exon is out for us little folk now aint it

They have created shortages to up prices they have put gluts on the markets to drop prices in a bid for takeovers
Yes they have vision - They see you as a commodity Yes they have leadership - They will lead you into economic slavery and war for thier own profits and controls -
Yep leadership and vision - I just don't like what they see or where they want to go

"We"
The wealth is generated by the worker without them you have no money
The commodity is created by the worker without them you have no product
The demand is created by the population at large -
Where did the wealthy come in to this equation at all ?
The created nothing they served no one and they fed no one
So where is this "we" - come in ?

The very wealthy are the least productive element of society, yes. A few are benefactors towards art and culture, but most just sit on large piles of money earned through the poverty of the working classes.
One of the greatest tricks the rich have played on the world is convincing us that they are somehow necessary. They hold up things like trickle-down economics, which keep thousands in poverty and makes even more virtual slaves to the rich, and people like Warren Buffet, ignoring the fact that his accumulation of wealth was a direct product of poverty. They are not at all necessary to society.
"For the rich to live comfortably, there must be an adequate supply of the poor" - Voltaire.
It is a despicable state of affairs and must be ended.
EDIT: A lot of people are saying that the wealthy give us employment. No they don't. Consumer demand gives us employment, the rich could be removed from the equation and corporations could be nationalised, as you said, and nothing would happen.

In thought it o.k. ought to, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it could never take off right here. individuals do no longer have faith their government sufficient and countless have the Wild West, man or woman mentality. besides, the question is what do you lose out on. an fairly socialist u . s . a . ought to no longer spend 22% of its budget on its militia or have a CEO that makes 200X what the standard worker makes. on the same time because it could help the working class, it could too heavily substitute u.s. to ever be enacted.

a CEO does not just sit in his office all day and laugh at everyone else doing work... well... not a good one anyway. He is making decisions on how to best use all the workers and what the next step of the company should be. Society would only grind to a stop if all the working class died because they are a majority and they few people left would not be able to do all the work. If the CEOs died a new person would be promoted to do the same job. Many CEOs are people who were formally of the working class and worked their way up or they are people who gained an advanced education allowing themselves to qualify for these positions. If someone in the working class does not like their position they always have the option to work hard to get promoted or to go back to school to get a degree that will allow them a different job. That is the freedom, you just have to be willing to do the work. if a person is not willing to do the work then they have only themselves to blame.

Wealth is GREAT. Who do you work for? Certainly not a poor man. The imbalance in poor and rich is a questionable factor, but what can you do. You can't be a Robin Hood society. Do you know that 2 of the RICHEST men in the world, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have already vowed to give AWAY huge portions of their wealth. Does that mean nothing to scavengers who just jealous of them. People who have not should analyze their inadequate shortcomings and do something GREAT that would focus them on MAKING MONEY if that's what they so desire so much.

You need the wealthy class to employ the working class.
It also helps that they pay substantially more taxes than anyone else on the planet.

the people who think the weathy are to be congratulated for providing the middle class with jobs are fools, the wealthy became that way by making as much money as possible, they will sell you out and move all of your jobs to china, india, portugal etc in an instant if that means a higher profit margin for them, they don't deserve anyone's loyalty

Truth is those wealthy ppl don`t do a ****, except finding new unscrupulous ways of increasing their wealth. They let others serve society for them. Their salaries are totally out of proportion.
But a pseudo-puritanical country like the USA likes that sort of stuff.

What do the wealthy do? They provide the capital so that labor has something to produce and somewhere to produce it.
Compensation is set based on supply and demand (keep in mind, labor is a commodity like any other). There is an almost infinite supply of people capable of making Slurpees, thus their relative value to an employer is less and they are paid less. There are decidedly fewer people who have the skill set necessary to serve as the CEO of a large corporation. Thus, the demand for their services is greater and they are paid more.
You should really take Econ 101, my friend.

Let's see....they buy politicians, so we individuals don't have to worry about voting for our own representation in the government.
They outsource our jobs to other countries. That way, we end up losing our houses, which they repossess so that they can get even more money....
....that they can leave to their loser children and grandchildren, thus producing more people like Paris Hilton.....
Who does what exactly that's useful? Somebody help me out here. Why DO we need Paris Hilton?

They provide the companies that provide you a job so you can get off welfare, that is unless you are one of those that think we owe you a living.
By the way, for all you people that think big business needs to get taxed to death, if they are taxed, you will pay it, because they will raise prices to cover the increase.
Pelosi and her bunch of weirdos want to put in effect a win fall profit tax on big oil. Let them go ahead. Then you will be paying $5.00 a gallon for gas.
ANY cost of doing business is passed on to the consumer!
