Everytime I watch this guy he's on the ice. He seem to be embelishing. I know he's a great player, but get some legs. Am I just being bias?

Seems like he hits the ice a little easy sometimes.

Sidney Crosby is a talented player. He scores lots of goals and assists for the Pens. The downside is that he does dive a lot. More than the average forward. The thing is, he is just a kid, so there is still time for him to work on not doing that. He has probably been taught to do that by his coaches during his life in hockey, so he needs to be instructed by the coaches in Pittsburgh, as well as the few veteran players that they have there, to not do that so much. It is not something that can be remidied overnight just because of how long it has been a part of his game, so don't expect him to stop anytime soon. I can tell you this, if he stopped diving, he would definitely be a more respected player across the league than he is right now, by both fellow players as well as fans. Other than the diving though, I think that Sid is a phenomenal player with the potential to be a top 10 all-time scorer by the time he's done. Just needs to work on not diving so much.

Everyoone is so hard on him he is by far the best player in the league. Anyoone that rips on him it just mad he is not on there team. Look at how he handles himself off the ice. He gives all his time to the less fortunite and charity. If you do not like him your just mad he is not on your team you would be very happy for your kids or yourself to act like him and respect everyone like he does. He will go down as the best or one of best ever. Maybe even cup chanp this year. Also with his skil there is nobody in the league that gives more effort than him and takes more cheap shot. Why is that not sure for what he has done to hockey even after the lock out he really helped bring it back to what it is now

Seriously, he's Sidney Crosby - the best player in the NHL. You try scoring with 3 guys molesting you on the ice at one time! The only way to stop him is by taking a penalty. He's a big gun, he's powerful, and he's been getting a bum rap with this since last season.

If I recall, there was another player who was brought into question with the whole "diving" thing a few years back too...I believe his name is Mario Lemieux...and I'm pretty sure he turned out to be one of the most respected players of all time.

NO, Sid the Kid does not dive. I watch every Pens game. Sid is pretty tough. He really takes a lot of abuse. If you think getting a stick slammed into your stomache is diving - try it sometime. Sid forchecks and fights through a lot of defensemen and draws penalties because a lot of no talent eurotrash can't compete with him on a skill level. Don Cherrry got everyone thinking Sid is soft - it couldn't be further from the truth. You guys need to watch a few Pens games instead of listening to jealous morons.

Yea he dives all the time. That what little girls do when they can't put up a fight in the NHL

Good job dkowski way to prove me wrong and explain that he doesn't dive. Oh wait you didn't. You just rambled on about how he's the best player. Did i say he wasn't? No, I said he was a diver because he is. Oh and by the way good grammar.

He dives alot. He gets tapped and falls down. He needs to learn to stand up. The only reason they don't give him penalties for diving is because he is the future(unfortunatley). I wish the league wasn't biased and actually called him for diving. And he whines alot. He needs to learn to stay on his feet and shut his yap.

No, as a star forward he is targeted by defensemen, thus making for lots of trips to the ice.

You are being biased. He takes a lot of cheap shots. He makes up for it by drawing penalties where the refs will call it. Maybe he could stay up better. If the refs agreed though they would call him on it.
