c.) large cities are certain in South America.
d.) um, certainly there are cities in the Americas.
I think we need some time period reference. I'm betting it ends up being b.

A is not right, the Aztecs had a sytem of writing, C is not right, Mexico city was bigger than any city in North America. D is not right, there were cities in the Americas, more so in South America. I'm Guessing the answer is B, which is true.

Sorry, this question makes NO sense. First, what DID? The urban areas of North and South America still exist.
They have many things in common. Is your question relevant to a particular time in History....like the Industrial Revolution?
