Buying is a great career. It is easier if you have a 4 year degree, but you can still become a buyer if you work your way up. Find a good company to work for, pay your dues and make sure you let them know that you are looking for advancement. This career can be very exciting because there is lots of travel involved and you get to go to fashion week!

Well, there are set designers who help not only design the scenes, but help:
Pick out clothing
Get the latest scoop on hot new fashions
Things like that! If you really put your mind to it, I'm sure you could do anything!
Also, you could join a magizine, as the fashion editor! That would give you a chance to not only make some big $, but give you a chance to shop!

-stylist on magazines(you can get work experience by ringing any of your favorite magazine offices)and they will let you know of positions within the companies.
-market stalls selling your refuse clothing
-volunteering to be a dresser backstage at fashion shows(contact the organisers),same with theatres
-pr jobs (selling clothing ranges,sending out clothes for show's and organising product launches).try ringing your favourite desingers and asking who represents them
