Yes you do. They are "Light scribe" blanks. You can get them anywhere that computers are sold. You may not want to buy alot of them when plain CD's are fine. The only difference is with the Lightscribe, you are able to burn visuals and lettering and such on them. I use these only for gifts as they are expensive. Be creative and use Sharpie's for the rest or print out your own design! Hope this helps!

to use lightscribe technology, yes. But, you can burn a normal DVD in a lightscribe drive.

Yes, you have to use Lightscribe DVD's and they are more expensive than regular DVD's.

Yes you and get blank labels with nothing on it include lines and words it have to be complete blank.
