From an American: We get EastEnders here (just the reruns) and I am not familiar with Corrie so I'll say EastEnders. I thought this was something they really did in the Square.

A good book wins every time, but occasionally I will watch the soaps at the moment the storyline in Corrie, is slightly more interesting than the one in Eastenders but that will probably soon change as soon

Lol that is true! I guess theyre just tryna show a close-knit community and they do this by everyone meeting in th launderette or the cafe or cornershop etc. I personally don't watch many soaps the only one i watch is neighbours. Id rather read a book.

Eastenders is crap, I watch Corrie, but it's not the end of the world if I don't watch it. Sometimes if I'm reading a good book, I'll miss it completely, so I'd choose reading out of all three.

I have another question: Why do they never watch soaps in soaps?

Eastenders is the most depressing programme on television

At least in corry there is lots of humour the scripts and acting
are far superior than Eastenders

no they don't depict real life cause how many of them move out of that square or the street, and who's that old woman that comes into The cabin from Rosamond street who nods her head up0 and down like her dentures are stuck together and pays the papers for a street that don't even exist.

Id rather settle down with a good book or answer decent questions on here
