Well..."Matchmaker, Matchmaker" from Fiddler on the Roof is sometimes done as a duet. (Though it's really a female trio.)
The only female duo I know of were the Judds, a mother/daughter country duo.
If one of you can sing soprano, and the other alto...then why not try some of the Simon & Garfunkel songs? There has NEVER been two-part harmony that sounded better...

The only female- female duet I can think of right now is "When You Believe" by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. I've been looking for ones myself... I'll post if I remember some more:)

Well any Aly and Aj songs...or just pick a song that a girl sings and split it up. Me and my friend who is a girl are also doing a talent show in March. We just decided that we were going to use the song 'Never Alone' by the barlow girls and Their really is only one person singing, but we split up the parts and made it sound really cool!

"Does He Love You?" is the first thing that pops into my mind. It's about a woman who find her husband cheating on another woman and their confrontation. It's a country song. Must show great emotion to get it to work out right.
Hope it helps.
