The economy could not get much better and we have had a continued good run for years. This is na very good time to run a business.

I am in business for myself and it is great at any time. I have several ideas on the go at the same time. This means that with proper planning I always have a good income.
Research well, work hard and there are no bad times in the economy. People always want and need. Make sure that you are offering answers to their problems.

Hello, I just started my business a couple of months ago and around my area I am having a difficult time because of the money situations. I find that most people are able to buy all the products they need or want because of their finances. I do make some sells every now and again but I tend to struggle certain months. So business could definitely be better for me but its not completely crappy. Good luck if you are starting your own though. It can be very rewarding.

The economy is always good as long as you keep a few things in mind:
1- supply and demand - in other words, be the only one offering what you sell
2 - location, location, location - don't be a hole in the wall shop in a ghetto
3- Even if the economy slumps, have what people will need regardless

As long as Bush gets out of office in time for the country to get its finances back in order, we should be ok. Im not sure that moneywise, anyone could spend more than him, I hope not anyway :)
My business does ok, once the fearmongering is removed from our government and business owners are confident again, everything will improve somewhat.

My business is growing every day, but it's something that can be done from home, so you are able to target your market. I run my business world wide, so there are always areas where I can market from.
