what are the courses required in high school to get into the medical program? all the kinds of science available?

if my GPA is low, is there any way i can make up for it on my SAT score?

and i didnt realize extracurriculars were so important.. can anyone help me with my application? what sounds impressive and stuff. i never had a leadership position anywhere howevre.

im a junior thats found these things out too late

You can't get into the medical school until you have a bachelor's degree. You should be taking as many science classes as you can, especially honors or AP, and try to get into a good pre-med major like biology.

Yes, SAT scores can help make up for a lower GPA, especially if your GPA is low because you are in a very competitive school. If your GPA is low even with no honors classes and a not so competitive school, then SAT scores won't help you get into a competitive college.

Extracurriculars: I was in, at various times in high school, band, color guard, orchestra, a poetry club, CloseUp (which plans a trip to DC), and an honors society. It looks good to be in more than one extracurricular, and to be in ones that take up a significant amount of time, not just a club that meets one hour a week for half of the year.
