Magazines usually have a managing editor and a lot of other subeditors. Subeditors oversee photography, reporting and witting, copy editing, illustrations and layout and design. Magazines also hire professional freelance writers (writers that sell their articles to magazines). You should try and see if your school can get u an intern with a magazine company that u like. It's good that u are a freshmen and know what u want to do. Talk to your guidance counselor or some of your teachers and they can probably help you out.
