Why do the big world governments have major economic and military interests with Israel and/or the Arab countries in the Middle East rather than more with Latin America, Africa or even Asia?

Security and trade are important cause. Arab countries have lot of money from oil and good market. Moreover, big powers never want war at their doorstep.

The wealth is is Israel , and the Arabs countries control the oil , and the Latin American and other countries are the major consumers

Notice we are mostly interested in regions where there is a buck to be made ? [ cheap oil , natural resources , new markets to be exploited] Couple that with the belief that we need to be on Israel's side when " The End " comes. [ This keeps the Christians on the side of Big Business] The Corporations are out for profits at any cost [they're selling weapons to BOTH sides] They care little for borders or morals.

The Middle East is rich in oil and I believe that is why we are still in Iraq. I'm not sure if a deal is brewing that would appease all, to guarantee oil to the U.S.A., and then our Soldiers will come home.
No oil is worth human life, especially innocent ones!
I would love to see my Country help in the horrible situation in Darfur.
