I recently moved into my girlfriends and to save transporting my entire PC i took the hard drive out of my tower and bought a USB caddy to connect it to my girlfriends PC. Now I cant get access to my documents folder and whenever I try to open it or anything it always pops up a box saying 'unable to access f:/ My documents access is denied'
My mate told me to try and disable the simple file sharing but we dont have the option to do this and he thinks it because were running Windows XP home version. Any ideas on this would be appreciated because if I cant get into it it looks like im going to have to take it to PC world!

Put thew disc back in your old computer, then get an old 20 or 40 giga HDD to put in the caddie, then down load all your stuff to that, that way it should be compatible with both computers and you will have a cheap way of transporting big files. P.S don't forget to format the new hard disc to run in the caddie.
