I want to go into the medical field but I don't know what. I'm hearing all these horrible things about pharmacy. The pay is good but the courses required in college are hard. I don't think I want to become a doctor or nurse either. I'm not smart, just hard working. And what courses are needed for these..in high school.

Being a dietitian or a physical therapist are also good. Dietitians work for anyone from food corporations to professional football teams, and phyical therapists can work for anything from a clinic to professional teams - depending on your area of expertise and commitment.

If you're not good at science or don't like it, then you may want to consider something else. Yes, these courses are hard for most people, but they stick with it and eventually learn what's going on. If you're not willing to do the courses, then there's not much way to get a very high up job. Research is a good one, but obviously you would have to go to full distance of courses to do that. I've heard pharmacist is a great job if you can put in the work. There are some other possibilities such as home health care that go to people's homes to help them out. There are jobs in nursing homes helping to clean up, etc.

If you have a high school in your area that is a magnet school centered around medical and medical fields, then that would more likely be like "pre-college" courses for medical desires and you won't feel "un-smart" and still be hard working. If you don't have a high school such programs, then try going to your community college during high school and see if you like it there and want t further your education in such a field.

I hear that the medical field in general is good for the future. So if you like the general subject, there's a lot of different medical professions to pursue.

Set a goal. Put your mind to it. Try hard. College is hard. You can do it if you want it bad enough.
