If this was the first time you have had a period then yes it can stop and start for a few months as your body is adjusting - just be patient and always carry towels with you as you are likely to start bleeding at any time

Sometimes when a woman starts her periods they can have one and then miss a few. You should talk to your mum, sister, aunt, or a friend or even her mum. dont think there is anything to worry about but dont suffer in silence. Perhaps you could go to your GP or Practice Nurse if you prefer a lady to talk to. Make sure that you have some sanitary towels at the ready though so that you dont get caught out as this happened to me and it was very embarrassing. Good luck.

You are fine you are just irregular. That means that yiour body is not completely adapted to the changes it is going through so you may miss your period for a month or two..sometimes even three. But usually you start getting it every month about 1 or 2 years after you first got it.

Don't worry about it, there is nothing wrong. When one first gets their period, it does not immediately become regular. I remember when I got my first period, it was 8 months before I had it again. It will become regular eventually. If you have not had you period within 4 months, I would recommend seeing a gynaecologist, or an OBGYN.

Hi, No nothing is wrong with you, when you first start your period they are very unpredictable you may not have another period for a few months, but don't worry they will come regular soon enough.

What makes you think you had your period? Did you bleed or just have abdominal pain? The menstruation cycle isn't always monthly especially when you just start.
I'm more concerned that you don't appear to have any one you trust enough to ask around you. i hope you'll talk to someone you trust about your changing body. Maybe a friend or relative or even a guidance counselor. Take care.

It is very common when you have just started your period for it to be irregular. If you are really concerned consult a doctor. I think this is just mother nature. It will become more regular as time goes on!!

Don't worry about that, more you think in that more your brain send the information to your body "do not have period". Forget about that, sooner or later will return. Relax. That happen to me before, and to lots of other women. Just relax and forget about that.

theres nothing wrong, it usually is quite erratic when it first starts, the 2nd often is heavier, it takes some time for your body to settle, so the answer is yes youve started your periods, have you talked to your mum? she will be the best person to help you thru this difficult time
