yes he is. hold on hold on just read this b4 you go on 2 the nxt answer. he is a quality player who brings lots of people in to the game with vision and passing. he also scores the sort of goals only 10% of players will score. and he will only get better.
but,
i believe he is not the player people think he is. Not even pele scored 30 goals and got 30 assists in a season every season. i believe his best position is behind the front 2 making goals and scoring the odd screamer. some1 like micheal owen is a goal scorer, a poacher and beckham is a crosser and puts fantastic balls in2 the box all the time. rooney can not do both, plus somehow i dont think superman was scouse anyway!?! Hahah!!!

Of course he's over rated. A good, strong player, yes, but a great, never. He is not anywhere in the league of Ryan Giggs. He's just another poster boy for the English press, to take the place of Beckham. I can't see him lasting 16 years with Man U like Ryan Giggs, can you?

yes,yes o god yes!
hes scored 10 goals in the premiership this season! is that good enuf to be a world class player when Darren bent has scored more goals with charlton?
He gives u effort theres no doubt about that but com on the only reason hes classed as such a good player is because hes English and were lookin for a ray of hope!

yes..but not as much as david beckham.
beckham is not a world-class player and yet people are so into him.rooney deserves the attention because he knows his game.
beckham, his free kicks is the only thing football that I know about him.
