My girlfried seems to think there is no problem with walking around on the barefloor or carpet wearing my socks. Now, don't get me wrong, but they are my socks and me being a man who wear socks more often than she does and I like to keep my clothing and etc.. up so they look good when I'm wearing them. I know some of you like she, may see nothing wrong with wearing dingy socks in the public even if you can't see them showing. I on the other hand don't believe in wearing nice shoes with dingy socks. Do I have a legitimate argument in requesting her not to wear my socks, because I like socks looking nice like my shoes.

I wouldn't have ask the question if I thought buying or giving her some of my socks would fix the problem. I guess wearing all white cotton dingy socks stretch out of place where the elastic won't stay in place must be pretty hip these days.

Keep your floors clean.
Suprise her with her own socks. Put some thought into it. Get her novelity, warm, her favorate color. Go nuts, she will love it trust me.
You get your stuff, and she gets something of her own that is just for you.
Get her some identical pairs so she can have the same ones at her house. And she'll always think of you.

Man, you should just think that's a cute-as-hell habit! To all you lame birds that say she should just buy her own socks, you know nothing of relationships and people's cutenesses. She's wearing your socks, because she wants to be a little closer to you. They're bigger than hers probabaly, and they look funny, and it's all just a little sign of love. You know, just like girls wearing guys' jackets.
I think you should stop being so possessive about your socks. Learn to share now, it's never too late. For your birthday or for whatever gift-giving holiday, tell her you want socks. And in the meantime, go buy more socks if she's really making them "dingy." But she's only wearing them around the house, so I doubt she'll do much damage.
So no you don't have a right to be mad, you should be happy, but I think the fact that your not might pinpoint another deeper problem in your relationship.

Ok...they are your socks. But, she is your girl. Really, dont you think there are much bigger things to argue about? Like maybe if she keeps the floor clean, you wont have dingy socks! But i agree w/ the good sock-good shoe thing. ( maybe hide a few pairs so you know you always have some, or but her her own to ruin) This is just to E-z of a fix to waist any time on.

finding socks that are comfortable for women is not an easy task take it from a woman Might I suggest that you give her some of your socks that are for her alone you can mark these with laundry pens they look just like sharpies but they dont was out in the laundry and then since you do have such an issue with this you are going to buy yourself new socks any ways just explain to her your feelings and ask her not to use the new ones that she can use the old ones she is wearing now

Oh the sacrifices we men must make when a woman makes an obscure statement that we fit them. When they do some simple gesture like wearing articles of clothing that should be saying to the guy that he is going to be buying new socks the rest of his life, if you love her that much. Man that woman feels that comfortable with you and you want to complain about that. There is something wrong and I don't think it is with her.

Well just not for you guys not to fight just keep the socks she wheres in your sock thing and get a new package of socks and but the in like i little plastic container under the bed or in the closet so you will not have a prob. Good Luck!

you know it is kinda sweet that she is wearing your socks, because she could not want any thing to do with u or your belongs, but on the other hand, you do have a right to wear nice socks, so you could ask her nicely and say "honey, I would really appericate it if you would not wear my socks, because i like to wear nice socks". but before you said that i would go and buy her a pair of nice warm socks and after you said that I would hand them to her, and give her a nice BIG kiss!!! xoxo GOOD LUCK!!

I suspect there are a number of guys out here (not nearly as anal as you) who would be pleased to buy another dozen pairs of sock if that was all it took to keep their girl happy. Dude... They're just socks. You clearly don't have enough in your life to worry about.
