I have told him that men do suffer this problem but he would like a man's answer. It worries him that even after his balls are empty they still ache. Is this normal?

Take it from a MAN.

YES this is normal. I've had a couple of times over recent years. So have friends I've spoken with.

Turns up out the blue, and gets better a day or two later. I been checked out. nothing was wrong.

Tell him not to worry.

Well if the pain seems to be localised at one spesific spot in the scrotum, and it is sometimes present and sometime not, it can also be related to a small problem in the blood vein. Much the same principle as an artery that starts not functioning perfectly. It can happen that the valve in the vein does not function so well and sometimes does not let the blood through good enough, which causes the vein to pump up between the valves in the vein (like a small balloon) and causes a painfull sensation, much in the same way as varicous veins. It is not a dangerous condition and something that one has to live with. As I said the pain can be present or disappears again (sometimes even for long periods of time).

Well first of all 'balls' are never full or empty. Motile sperm are not stored in the 'balls'. An ache in the testicles can be caused by too tight underwear, too loose underwear so that the 'balls' are knocking about or by the possibility of testicular cancer.
If he is really concerned I suggest he sees his doctor.

No, it sounds really bad actually; either he is ejaculating to much or has some thing wrong with his balls such as cancer or a slight clot of something. He should go to a doctor. My balls only hurt when they get hit and that goes a way after a while.

my husband had this problem. Doctor said that not to worry if there are no lumps and bumps. Make sure he wears supportive underwear, as it maybe a strain from the extra weight. NOW STOP HANGING ABOUT AND GETS SOME PANTS- they work wonders! If he's still concerned though he should visit his Doctor.

Don't worry I have it all the time. The doctor doesn't seem intrested and ive been 4 times. Ive managed 2 kids so far so they seem to be working fine and the wifes never complained.
But to me its normal just keep checking for lumps.

It's normal to ache if you've been turned on but not had it for a while. Tell him not to worry, he's normal and obv needs more sex!

I don't get the ball ache after jerking off. It hurts between the penis and scrotum instead.
