There's a whole lot of muck on the clutch plates.

By flooded, do you mean underwater? If so, is your clutch hydraulic? Check for contaminated fluid in the reseviour. Change, and bleed air out. Check throw out bearing, and pressure plates for rust (likely). Clutch disk fiber probebly ruined. I would probebly replace it. It's not too expensive, and does'nt take but a weekend to do.

if you have a hydraulic clutch, the fluid is the same as for brakes. add water and they will FAIL. flush both systems now!!! to be sure go to your mecano cause if the systems are contaminated, it may destroy all the seals and cost $$$$$ to replace alot of parts
