A period isn't a daily thing. You get it approximately once a month and it lasts 2 to 7 days.

have you had health yet? i dont remember when they go over this, but girls dont get their period a certain number of times a day. you basically have it for a couple of days and the flow is generally consistant. so when it comes you just bleed for a while. some girls' periods though may stop for a little, like an hour or so, but shes still on her period. maybe ask your mom or friends that jus tgot their period? i know mine came around 6th grade.
there are actually some good website that you can go for information like www.beinggirl.com or www.gurl.com . they are good websites about the girls body without judging.

hey...I'm not sure exactly what you mean...but you get your period about every 28 days and it lasts from 4-8 days. You need to use a tampon or pad that is adequate for your flow (usually heavier the first couple of days, so use a thicker pad/tampon) you need to change it every 4-6 hours. For night time, use a thicker one so you don't have to get up in the middle of the night. towards the end of your week, you'll get lighter and spottier so use a panty liner until you stop bleeding for about a full day.
(if you have access...you should talk to a female adult that you trust...maybe a school counselor or nurse... Also planned parenthood is safe, confidential, and free).

the peroid can last anything from 3 days to about 8 at a time. It varies with every woman and in the first years it may not be the same every month. You change sanitary pad when you need to. you will see that for yourself and you do not need to worry about it. Some people can set their watch on it, some people can't..

Your period is supposed to come continuously for approx. 5 days pending on the person about once a month. you dont just get your period once or twice a day.

that doesint make sense your soposed to get it for several days until its done looks like u need to have a talk with either your mom or your doc your obviosly too young if u think u get your perouid certin time s aday

it comes for days at a time. not minutes or hours. and normally you get it once a month and it lasts for a few days..
