This is such a good question and I wish there were more that made you think.
Having had a very difficult childhood I was shy and nervous. I would be so pleased that I had overcome this (or concealed it well) and I would have been amazed that I had done so well in many ways. The child I was was better off not knowing some of the things that I had to overcome as an adult though.

What an amazing question - this site is for people like you!!
I think the child, ultimately, would be proud of the adult, but would be surprised at some of the weird decisions she had made!!
I think the child saw the future through rose tinted glasses though!! The reality is somewhat different, but not too rough!
take care xxx

That child would think I was cool but would be deeply disappointed in the adult in 1 MAJOR way, I always said I would 100% let my kids out till all hours, but of course, I never do!

It'd be thinking you am what you wanted to be, a gangster. lol. Nah it'd be thinking why are you at college failing your exams because when I was younger I said I wouldn't go to college. I am only 17, and still can remember being a child. Also it'd be thinking why have you stopped making mud pies, my special treat for guests!

I was going to be a stunt man, join the SAS and be a big adventure guy, so I worked in a mill and now I am a full time carer.

Hopefully I think that they would think that I've done well for myself, although I could have done better. They would definitely like me and be happy knowing that I am still the happy, fun and loving person I always was.
