Its an expensive mistake if damage occurs..there are lots of power supplies out there that will power all laptops and the different connectors are supplied with them..If you try the one you have and it does power your laptop up keep checking for overheating with the power supply as there are a couple of way they can blow..1 is that it stops producing power and 2 is that it can let too much power through resulting in a broken laptop,now we dont want that now do we..hope this helps..Steve

Yes its safe as far as the laptop goes. The only problem you MAY encounter is the power supply fuse will blow, because your laptop will be drawing a tiny amount extra current through the power supply.

The laptop can't be harmed (this would occur should you use a higher output power supply than the laptop is designed for) but with the 0.11 amp difference here, this is all but negligible.

If they are different will the plugs match up? I've heard that its okay to go OVER the voltage a little because it will only pull the amount it needs. If its a new laptop, to be on the safe side I would use the proper power supply.
