Its from the sony vaio PCV-RS420 model.

My power supply is about to go out, its causing alot of problems, so I need a new one thats compatible with my motherboard. Thanks for any help.

Naw, I do my own work. Its cheaper. But...the problem is...the power supply. Its a weird one, its a mini or something. I had another power supply, but, there was one hookup the pSU didnt have, and...I wouldnt have fit in the case to begin with cause the cd drive is in the way. But, I have a new case now, so Size isnt an issue.

go to the place where you are going to buy the power supply and tell them to install it for you(take your tower with you), thats what i did when i needed to change my power supply dam lightning.
EDIT:
um ok i have a suggestion take your current power supply to the shop and tell them to give you a power supply similar to this one but more powerful. when i went to the shop to change mine he told me that power supplies have become universal i think though...

when i buy pc parts they install them for me for free thats y i told you to take it to the shop.

open the computer up and see if it is a standard atx power supply. It might be a weird one since it came in a sony computer.
