I'm 18 and still in High School, would it help my application to get into pharmacy if I apply to become a Pharmacy Technician at a local drug store or pharmacy?

Now a days, almost everyone is a pharm tech, and so, it is not a distinguishing fact. It doesn't hurt, but it doesn't help.

Absolutely! It is highly recommended that applicants to pharmacy school have experience working in a pharmacy.

There are classes you can take to pass the pharm tech certification exam, but if you are good at math and basic chemistry (units of measure, conversions, etc) then you only need to get a test prep book to prepare for the test.
