you want the lowest common denominator for the numbers 2 - 10.

break up all these numbers into their prime factors:
2 = 2...................
3 = 3
4 = 2 x 2
5 = 5
6 = 2 x 3
7 = 7
8 = 2 x 2 x 2
9 = 3 x 3
10 = 2 x 5

Next make a set that will contain each of the prime factors in the maximum number of times they appear for any of the numbers. For example you will need three 2's:

[ 2,2,2,3,3,5,7 ] With this set of factors we can recreate any of the numbers from 2 to 10. Multiply all of these factors to get the lowest common denominator.

2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 2,520

2,520 is the smallest number that is a divisible by the numbers 2 - 10

You want the least common multiple of 2,3,... and 10.
That works out to 9*8*7*5 or 2520. That's
the smallest number divisible by all numbers between 2-10.
