No. You can relax on that one. Very few of the astronauts have degrees more advanced than a Masters, though an advanced degree won't hurt your chances, either.
You should aim to be a well-rounded person, in good shape with some athletic skills, but also kick butt in the grades department. Do well in all your endeavors. A good thing to do is to learn to fly as soon as you can. You have to be 17 to get a private pilot's license. You should give it a shot.
Learning to fly is an outstanding exercise in self-reliance, and it will look good on your resume.
Also, you should not get too emotionally excited about some member of the opposite sex, and you should be able to keep a straight face while wearing a diaper.

No. Astronauts are needed from diverse fields in order to have a successful mission and study a wide array of payloads. Forget where the woman two people above me said to get a private pilot's license.
Just about every single Astronaut pilot is from the military.
Study hard in math and physics, become a military officer and fighter pilot, and kick butt in all areas.
Then apply to NASA. :)
