Someone from my fantasy baseball league wants to trade
Eric Chávez
Barry Bonds
Jim Edmonds
Pedro Martínez
Francisco Liriano

for my

Chone Figgins
Alfonso Soriano
Curtis Granderson
Andre Ethier
Ian Snell

This looks like it could be deceiving. Should i take it or not. It looks to me like it is older player for younger players. Is this a good deal. Let me hear it. Thanks

He is taking out his trash - and wants you to have it.
Liriano is a year away from playing, he never should have been drafted. Pedro MIGHT pitch in July or August. Edmonds runs into something every year and gets hurt. Bonds takes self appointed days off (which he just did in spring training), Chavez can't hit LHP.
I wouldn't make this trade for Figgins alone and he is also asking for Soriano - one of the top three players in fantasy...

This trade is not only not fair, it's downright insulting - I would be ticked off and counter the offer with Brad Wilkerson for Vlad Guerero straight up (or something similar depending on who his number draft pick was and what player I was about to drop anyway)

NO NO NO, basically you only get Jim Edmonds, Barry Bonds, and Eric Chavez. Francisco Liriano will be out for most the season and Pedro won't be back for a long while.

hell no,and if u were to accept it,id have to klonk you in the head. liriano is not gonna play this season, bonds is a question mark, pedro will be pitching maybe after the all-star break, chavez is coming off a bad year, same with edmonds, and yet ur asking whether you trade them for 5 players,5-tool stud soriano included??

This is a horrible trade. Pedro and Liriano are out at least half the season if not all. And do not trade away Soriano. He alone will insure you a top 6 (playoff) team.

Don't do it, Liriano isn't even playing this year, Pedro's recovering from elbow surgery, Jimmy and Barry are getting old. You'd be giving up the 2nd best 2nd baseman and the best OF available.

Don't do it

no way! fransico and pedro arent even playing this year and did you see bonds at a spring traing game. 0-2 with a strike out and he misplayed a catch in leftfield

no dont take it. chavez sucks, bonds isnt the bonds of old, edmonds is old and doesnt have power, pedro is hurt, and liriano is out the entire year. i wouldnt trade alfonso for all of them combined.

Pedro is hurt. Alfonso Soriano is going to have a MVP season this year, so I wouldn't trade him unless They gave me more.

No way.

Chavez, Bonds, Edmonds, Martinez and (obviously) Liriano are all huge injury risks.

Avoid this.
