Drugs should not be legal but they probably should be decriminalized and high taxes would make them less attractive to newbies. Alcohol was illegal during the 30's and became legal when prohibition ended. Taxing it and allowing it's use was not nearly as bad trying to prohibit it's use entirely.

Prostitution - maybe should be legal and the income taxed but "soliciting for the purpose of prostitution" should still be illegal as it is in most states now.

I have issues against things like that ever being legal for the clear repercussions. But on the flip side I often wonder... In Amsterdam when they legalized marijuana stats proved that use went down, and of course federal revenues went up with taxation. In my opinion, even if something is beneficial for making the right decision, you should still make the difficult decision (enforcing laws against) for the upholding of morals and values.

I think they should be legal and the government should tax the heck out of it. It would cut down on crime, make more room in the prisons and probably cut down on the defecit.

I think they should be legal, but regulated, like they are in Denmark and The Netherlands.
