Do you get offended when someone answers your question with something you don't like and give them a thumbs down?

Yes! I do,When I ask a question,It's not that I want a answer,because I already know the answer,It's because I want to know your answer,if it's right or wrong,then I'll give a star for researched answer,right answer,close to right,or the effort to find a answer. And when I answer a question if I insult you it's probably because your question insults me and the world.

First Question--Yes, I always have....sometimes to the point of overkill. ^_^ I can be a verbose individual some days. This makes me unpopular, I know.
Second Question--I can't really *ask* Questions anymore as some people here will just hate on me and *report me* no matter what I say. But....back when I did ask questions I usually did make it a point to *not* Thumbs Down people unless they were *clearly* not answering the question *and also* being offensive/insulting about it.
Then again, back then I hardly gave anyone a Thumbs Down unless it was *clear* they deserved it (from already having a ton of them). These days I am *much* more likely to drop a Thumbs Down on people just because *my* Answers have been randomly hated on by the trolls and cowards here. Even so, I don't usually give a blind Thumbs Down to *every* Answer on a Question like some folks do: I am more likely to give a Thumbs Down here, then 2-3 Thumbs *Up* there.
(Unless of course it's one of those Questions of a Political or Religious bent that is *clearly* that damn stupid, in which case I am more likely to *flag* folks and report them)
Point is, I've become meaner these days, but I am still not as mean as your average Cowardly Troll here. Seriously.

I do answer honestly regardless of the consequences, but I do try hard to be diplomatic and not judgemental or overly harsh.
There are some answerers who goal is to offend and yes, I have been offended - more accurately, shocked at how far off from mine their take on the question was.
I am liberal with both thumbs up and down. I even had one guy who's answer made me laugh, but it was so wrong I had to thumbs down. I emailed him to tell him, so he at least got the respect points for himself - we both got a good giggle out of it, it seemed.

Almost ALWAYS, I answer questions with little or no honestly. I just try to make silly answers to make people laugh. Very rarely, and this is one of those moments, do I answer the questions honestly and seriously.
I never get offended when someone answers my questions with something I don't like because I never ask any.

Well, I just asked a question on good christian/rock bands, and one person gave me a rap band! Yes I was mad because they didn't answer my question. I can't rate people yet, but if I could I would definitely give them a thumbs down. I've seen people accuse the asker of having a stinky question also. I saw one on Pokemon, and I got best answer because I was the only one who didn't offend the guy. It was on a different account, that's why it doesn't show on my profile.

No.. i ask alot of immigration questions and i answer alot... while i find it funny how much these people answer on opinion rather than FACT i do not give them thumbs down,, if i can see their point,, even if i do not agree if they have valid facts and i can see their point of view whether i agree or not i still give them thumbs up... the only time i give them thumbs down is when they get ignorant and send me e-mails saying that they want to kill illegals and that i deserve to die because my husband is from Honduras and I'm a trashy white whore.. then i give u thumbs down and report u....

I am as honest as I can be and I don't ever try to hurt any ones feelings and yes I do give a thumbs down to the answers that I think do hurt other peoples feelings.

Some people ask stupid questions, others give stupid answers, what most bothers me is the few that are quick to bash the sh!t out of you, damn, if you don't like the question just press the back key and move on.
I give thumbs down when appropriate I think.

On issues important to me, I give a serious honest answer. On silly questions, I like to be silly. I don't do thumbs down. I either give a thumbs up or leave it alone.

Yes, but I try to be nice about it most of the times. I don't give people thumbs down on my questions unless they said something just to be stupid.
