There is not one person on this planet that doesn't remember their first love, yes you get over, but they will always hold a special place in your heart.

Yes, you'll get over it but you won't forget. First loves stay with you forever and it's the one relationship story you are bound to tell about over and over again. You'll move on and find another person to love just as much and hopefully more. It's a part of growing up and it stings for awhile but we all survive. You'll need this experience and knowledge for when you have children of your own and they ask the same question.

Hello,
(ANS) First love because its a first experience does make a deep and lasting impression. First love also means first loss, and first loss also leaves a deep impression (one feels like such closeness the other feels like such abandoment).
Those two powerful experiences dont ever leave us, they dont go away but over time I think we slowly come to terms with them, the hurt heals over and the pain feels less. But I dont think its a question of getting over them more coming to a point of acceptance.

Okay, well i think if you havent had a gf or bf since, then i think you were just in love with the thought of being in love. i mean, u cant find out if you were really inlove with your first love until you have dated other pplz and see how you feel about them.

yes..... if you were meant to be then it would be. Your first love sets you up for future loves and experience,. dont get love confused for memories and happy times.... as i can guarantee if you went back to your first love you would prob not feel the same as you did and not as intense.
