Dear I Wish,
Don't you sometimes just wish you had a magic wand to help these poor souls who've clearly chosen a lifestyle that can only lead to "more of the same"?
Unfortunately, "I Wishing" ain't gonna make it so.
As you know, the heterosexual lifestyle contributes wantonly to the spread of many sexually transmitted diseases, pedophilia, poor fashion choices, ill chosen hairstyles, and the unwanted pregnancies that actually provide the need for the abortions the Christian variety so eschew. Millions upon millions of dollars are spent annually on heterosexual weddings... dollars that could could otherwise help feed the hungry and impoverished of the world.
What's more, they flaunt this lifestyle with displays of public affection, emblazing billboards and magazine advertising pages with scantily clad opposite sex models, controlling Hollywood with their wild escapades, insisting that they be the giants of the silver screen. All of these simply encourage the children of the world to emulate this behavior, and thus this vicious cycle continues.
There is really only one answer and that is to encourage your nephew to emulate Jesus, who allegedly took no wife, sired no offspring, and most likely relied on self-gratification or the companionship of a trusted friend as most normal young people do. Never once does the Bible mention a woman kissing Jesus, but it does relay the tale of Judas' kiss! One can only surmise how far that kiss took Jesus in his search for grace.
There are however, many professionals in the US who are skilled in "deprogramming" young people who've been misled by religious cults. Perhaps they deserve some consideration.
Even as it may be by his own choice, one cannot deny that many a heterosexual fathers would rather hold to his son's head a shotgun, than hold his son's head to his breast.
I applaud your concern, and ("I") wish you well in your battle against this madness. Now you must excuse my whilst I remove my tongue, which is firmly pressed against my cheek.
