I live on the 2nd floor and my landlord lives on the third floor of private house. His two kids are 5 and 7 and they make too much noise. They run around and wake me up from my sleep. I have told him to take care of this, but nothing has happened. Is there anything I can do. Specifically legally? Thanks

In legal terms, you can either put up with it or move.

There is nothing you can do-or should for that matter. Unless you can move out, you basically have to deal with it. Getting into a legal mess because his kids are noisy is hardly worth your sanity. If you cannot come into an agreement with your landlord, ask to be taken off of the lease and leave.

Maybe the landlord is unaware of how much noise the kids are making , you may need to move, when you live with someone although you live in your own space ,it may not be right but, if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen(get the point)
