Most ladies say that size isn't important, that size isn't a big deal. But why, ladies, do a substantial number of you specifically reference the size of a current or past partner's penis?
Think of the reverse: if a guy says that breast size doesn't matter, but mentions the bra size of his partner, well he obviously has taken the time to find out what size cup she wears. But there's no bra for a guy's penis, so how come you ladies actually know that your guy is a SPECIFIC size and yet say that it doesn't matter?

OK, I need to edit this question. BTW, thanks to everyone who did answer.
The female answers were most interesting. I've never met a girl who talked about her ex or current boyfriend's penis with me (and I never asked or wanted to know either), but I have met quite a few who mention what size would really feel good to them.
FYI, condoms aren't very similar to bras. I've never noticed a note about exact size ranges on any condoms. A box of Trojan Magnums simply says "larger...for extra comfort", not "7 inch DD". Condoms sizes aren't specific. They just give a ballpark idea of size.
Anyhow, am I correct ladies to conclude that most of you know, or think you know, your man's size because he can't stop himself from telling you?

Actually all I know about my husband's size is that it's big enough but not too big and how it fits in my hand. So I suppose I could measure my hand, but I don't feel the need to. He would not be pleased if I brought out a measuring tape and interrupted the really important things that were happening. I would not be happy if he did the same. Numbers are meaningless; we're both satisfied, so why mess around with a ruler. Yuuuuuck!.

It's all talk.Okay. Because be real what person would actually want a 8-12 inch penisgo inside of them. That takes the fun out of sex.Than again who actually wants a 2-4 inch penis going inside them(so small). So ofcurse there is always going to be a size thing. Just live with it.

I'm more concerned about what else my lover can do in the bedroom, so I really don't pay that much attention to the size of his penis. I'd rather have a guy with a smaller penis who really knows his way around a woman and can push all the right buttons, than a guy with a huge penis who couldn't find my clitoris with a map.

How do I know a specific size? Well maybe it's because guys measure themselves so often. All my ex's liked to tell me as precisely as possible how big they are as often as possible. I've never felt it necessary to say how big an ex was anyway. That's in the past. Whatever girls you are with are being really stupid by talking about how 'big' their ex's are. Dump them and find somebody more mature who isn't going to flaunt her ex's to you.
Bigger (actually, thicker) does feel better, but honestly, size doesn't matter, it's how you use your equipment! Brush up on technique and nobody will care how big you are.

Every key fits a lock ;-)
you must remember not all women are the same size (this effects our lady parts too) so some will prefer the larger man!!
But i think on a whole(no pun intended) Average is just fine. and most ladies would agree.

penis quit starting to be on the age of 21, so dont problem this is going to save on starting to be, slowly and also you wont word it although this is going to improve possibly as a lot as 6.5 or 6. yet in spite of everything women people dont like huge penisu have an common length and it will be adequate to excitement them.

I have only my man that is my hubby... All I know is that his size is a perfect fit for me =o) His size seems to change every now and then -- The length really doesnt matter to me that much (yes my hubby is normal sized) but I think girth is much more important ,

I could care less of the size of my partners penis. I have always said, it is what is in your partners heart, and not what is in his pants, that counts. Think about it!!!
