Depends on the seafood.
Some types of fish such as shark, swordfish and tuna steaks have high levels of mercury. High levels of mercury can harm your growing baby. Do not eat these types of fish more than once a month. Larger and older lake fish, like trout and walleye, may have high levels of mercury. Limit hte amount that you eat. Other fish, including canned tuna are safe to eat more often.

I've read that canned tuna once or twice a week is ok, and cod is good and regular fish you normal get at restaurants. If there's a specific fish you want to eat, call your doctor or obstetrician. He or she will point u in the right direction.
And if you still aren't sure, don't bother! It's not work the chance to harm or deform your baby.

Mercury levels are a real thing to consider when eating fish/seafood,but unless you have an allergy to shellfish, such as crab, clams, oysters, etc.I wouldn't think there would be any limit to what you can eat,my family was raised on seafood and wild game throughout my mothers pregnancy and none of the 3 children suffered any birth defects from eating too much shellfish, but always check with your O.B and let me know if in fact theres a limit to shellfish consumption, curiosly yours wadebubba@yahoo.com
