With any equation with a variable, you first want to isolate the variable on one side of the equation. To get x by itself, multiply EACH side of the equation by 5. Doing so would cancel the denominator of 5 on the left side, leaving x by itself. 15x5=75, therefore the new equation would be x=75.

Multiply both sides by 5. So 5 x 15 is 75. There's your answer.

if x/5=15 then x=5*15 so x=75 which isn't any of the answer up there so the answers given are wrong and the answer x=75 is right
