Guilt is such a destructive emotion....it is totally emotive and prevents you from thinking clearly. Guilt will not change what has happened....guilt is only worthwhile if you learn from what has happened to you. If guilt is consuming you, its time you talked about it with a professional....I think its time you let go of your guilt, gather up as much strength that you can muster, go see a professional counsellor...take a deep breath and let it all out. If you have hung onto this guilt for a long time to the point where you want to die, then the guilt has nearly consumed your logical mind. I dont know what you are feeling guilty about....all I know is that guilt is a very destructive force if you allow it to consume you.....You have allowed it to consume you. You are not thinking straight....you need some help. There is a solution to everything.

your guilt stems from something u did, a regret, shows that u have a conscience and that u feel badly, guilt is about a behavior, and behaviors can be changed. guilt responds to actions. so whatever u did, ask god to forgive u, and choose not to do it again, and forgave yourself . all u really need is to ask forgiveness from god, and choose not to do it again. just accept what u did, and move past it, never want to die over something that u can be forgiven for. go talk to a non judge mental person about this, like a minister, or priest, at least u know when u do wrong, so many people never care what they do, just don't be too hard on yourself, we all make bad choices. god bless and good luck

Dear Stephen H,
If you have not killed a man, throw some off your loads on us. Everyone has a guilty past. Just ask and you'll see that you are far from the black list!
It is good to talk! It is good to feel guilty, because it brings out your better side . Don't worry, we all get carried by devilish thoughts sometimes, and why not? that is what makes us humans!
Animo! Courage!
PS. and remember, every song in this world (Im a music freak) is a reason to live for! That is a billion reason! Cheers.

Best way to get rid of guilt is to give it away. Youre going to have to tell someone, although it must be the "right" someone.

Cheat on your spouse? If you love your spouse and want to stay together, then you need to hold on to that guilt. Releasing your guilt, would only bring pain to your spouse. That, is not worth comforting yourself.
