I would like a reason why the WoW/D2 is better.

If you want a game with great graphics WoW is better
but..
If you want a game with great gameplay Diablo 2 is better.

Hands down WoW is better, but only if you have the money to pay the monthly fee. Lots to do, always changes, meet some cool people, etc. (kinda hard to explain why, try the 10-day free trial to see for yourself: https://signup.worldofwarcraft.com/trial/index.htm)
However, if you don't think you can pay for it, stick with D2.

WoW is better. Though I love both.
