I was on clomid when I got pregnant with my twins, I completed the second round of 100mg. days 4-8. I didnt have any side effects from it either. I have 2 healthy fraternal twin boys from it.

Before even starting to take this medication, you should be thoroughly checked over by your doctor and then monitored throughout. If they dont do this, dont take it as it does come with some nasty warnings. I took it for 2 months - and yes - it worked and I couldnt be happier now that I am 6 weeks pregnant but the reason I still say you should only take it with caution is because when the doctor at the hospital found out I had been taking it, she all but smacked my hands for being so naughty! She said it is connected to ovarian cancer and multiple births and should only EVER be used as a very last resort! I dont know if it was that which resulted in my pregnancy -I am obviously just grateful to be pregnant but I still feel I should warn others as my doctor who put me on them didnt tell me any of this, or monitor me whilst taking it! Just be careful and the best of luck!

I work in a pharmacy and it has seemed to work perfectly for our patients for whom it was prescribed which is mainly the 35 and older crowd.
However, you need to realize that it can increase your chances for multiple babies. Many of our clomid ladies end up with twins.

Good drug when used properly and monitored by a doc correctly. It's safe, been around for years. It's dirt cheap compared to other fertility drugs. Definantly a good first choice for women who are not ovulating.
