I would say that the best right now is Peyton Manning. He performs at his position so much better than any other QB in the league right now. Some would say LaDanian Tomlinson, but if you compare him with other RB's in the league, he is not as far ahead of them as Peyton is from the other QB's.
As for the worst, there could be so many that do not get to play and ride the pine. For the sake of the question, I will look at starters only. I would say Michael Vick. He is not a QB. He is not accurate or decisive. He makes bad throws and employs a run first attitude. Even in the west coast offense he can't seem to find the open receiver for the short completion. I know there are probably other starters with worse statistics than him, but when you add the hype that he garners and the fact that he is working on his third head coach in Atlanta (and everybody got upset at Jim Mora Sr. when he said Vick was a coach killer), I have to give the upper hand to Vick. Even Trent Dilfer didn't go through that many coaches.

Urlacher, L.T. , Peyton Manning are a few of the best. Rex Grossman may be the worst first string Quarterback in the league right now.
J-Dawg, do you watch football, how can you say Manning is overrated, match his career stats against any other QB in the league and tell me who is the best, there are only 1 or 2 others who are even in the conversation.

Best: LT and Peyton Manning. Worse: Fred Smoot. The guy is a great trash talker but couldn't back up his lips with his play (unlike Ocheo Cinco). He's a mediocre player at best. I can't believe Washington signed this guy again after 2 bad seasons in Minnesota and doing absloutely zilch in Washington the first time he was here.
