I'm not talking about questions for advice or opinions...this is awesome for that! I'm talking about the people who ask things like "what is higher in carbs..." or other simple questions that should be answered by fact and not opinion.

I agree with you. Especially the questions about "what does this word mean", or homework questions.

We don't need no stinkin' googles!

The difference between looking up a topic on Yahoo! or Google is that YA is an interactive venue allowing a near human to human contact. People, by nature, are gregarious and YA provides a sense of community with the personal touch.

Of course we can look things up, but YA is a way to hang out with "people".

I think that google is a great way of finding information but....
this is a better and more efficient way of getting opinions!

Its better because people give you opinions and you get differect aspects of things

not all questions, for example: you have a problem with your friend, google can't answer that. If you don't like it, why are you on here?

this way you dont have to do the real "work" and its fun to see peoples opinions.
